Back to top Synopsis

Jamie, Sooz, Nicki, Alex, Sasha and Rob are the main characters of this teen drama. Set in London, the show is about these teenager's lives, the way they see the world and how they are seen by it. Each episode of As If shows the story from one character's point of view, as if they were the main character of a movie about his/her life.

The same story can be told in many episodes, under different points of view of different characters. Since they have the chance of giving their final opinion on what happens, the teenagers feel like they're in charge of the story.

But the viewer can tell when the narration of the character is not completely truthful to what happened or when the perception is mistaken. Therefore, the characters show us their flaws, anxieties, their typical adolescent feelings.

This british show have been shown around the world, including countries like France, Belgium, Spain, Holland, Rusia, Australia, New Zealand, Romania, Finland and Latin America. It was very well received by the critics and is called "the modern british version of My So-Called Life".
