Young and shy Jeff discovers his attraction to men. After struggling with himself he comes out to his parents. Mum (Tess) is at first convinced that Jeff can be "cured" through psychiatry but eventually listens to her son and tries to understand his feelings. |
His dad (Ken) a prideful man suffering from several illnesses, is unable to accept his son for what he is--as much as he wants to. He would rather die. Which in the end, he really does, leaving behind a mother, her son and his friend to work those things out Jeff and his dad had never the courage to talk about. Only Jeff's married sister (Margie) can approach the situation with understanding. |
A coming out story of a young man within his family. |

It has been years ago when I saw this movie. I remember it as impressive. An About Gay Movies visitor suggested me this title with Miss Anything and said that he vaguely remebers it, but it clung to his mind as a good one. And so it did to mine. |
