The one thing that Marion (Stockard Channing) and Arthur (Harvey Fierstein) ever had in common - her ex-husband and his lover - has been lost to them both. Following the death of Collin from AIDS, they meet, supposedly to sign documents. |
Though Collin is gone, the pain of his death from AIDS lingers on. Now the two people he loved must come to terms with his absence and their relationship. |
Arthur is gay and lost his lover Collin because of AIDS. He must cope with the realisation that the spectre of AIDS will haunt him for ever. |
Incredible, fabulous, well-written, well-acted and very moving. Very hard to find, but I ultimately found it on eBay in VHS. |
I wish they would re-release it. Harvey Fierstein did an incredible job in writing and acting in this and Stockard Channing is, as always, amazing. |
