Tenoch (played by Diego Luna) and Julio (playedby Gael Garcia Bernal), Mexico City teenagers and best friends, are living quite the carefree life while their girlfriends travel out of the country: smoking dope, mooching drinks at political functions, and masturbating the summer away.

On a lark, they invite the beautiful, more mature Luisa (played by Luisa Corés) on a road trip to a secret beach that doesn't exist; when she surprisingly accepts, they set off on a slightly ridiculous journey that will change all of their lives.

Soon the three are headed out of Mexico City, making their way toward the fictional destination. Along the way Luisa seduces the two young men, and they begin to argue over her.

As they continue their journey, caught up in their own world, the wealthy trio all but ignores the harsh realities of poverty that surround them.

Tenoch and Julio embark on a discovery tour of sexual passion including the gay territories.

A steamy Mexican road movie with a now legendary diving board scene that can't be missed, plenty of full-frontal nudity and a naked same-sex kiss that will blow you away.

I have heard a lot about this movie before I saw it. So, I had high expectations and was curious what they were all talking about.

Especially the infamous divingboard scene and the abundence of male nudity (including frontal).

Well, they were right. It is a great movie based on a small storyline but beautifully directed, acted and written.

And yes, there is a lot of nudity, male and female. But that shouldn't be your only reason to watch it. It has a right of its own to shine on the big screen. A definite thumbs up.
