A reunion of family and friends becomes an unforgettable vacation when two teenage boys discover their feelings for each other, only to be found out by their families.

The exposed relationship leads to the denial and questioning self worth from each of the boys and the families…especially finding out that one of the boys had been previously institutionalized for his homosexuality.

The other sideline story is the friendship between the two men (a father and friend), one a man who has lost his job and wife, finding himself without a purpose. He also must come to terms with the past; that he helped to put his younger brother in the institution and buried this secret.

Life was once simple...and then came summer.

It's not that the film is unwatchable. It's predictable... It's rather more an emotional manifesto than a wishful thinking dreamy vision. Flat, two dimensional characters. Before a dialogue is started you know how it's going to end. Script contains no plot at all - plotline is like a lifeline of a zombie: ghosty characters don't interact -- they are dissolving in themselves... Emotional peaks of actors play are non-existent. Well... I'd say no word if it was a Sunday theatre with eager teenagers trying to act on stage of an amateur company, but for the film... OK, so far this is the worst gay themed film I've ever seen.
