Hello subscriber, The whole website has been totaly overhauled to make it better than before. Every page loads up faster and there are lots of new pictures. In fact there are so many updates that only the biggest ones are mentioned on the What's new page and below in this newsletter. The website has been visited even better than last month. In the last newsletter I mentioned that we broke the 500 hits per day barrier and now it is a daily event. This month there were twice as much visitors and 3 times more hits. New titles I add new titles all the time. These were the titles that were added the last month. Common threads: stories from the quilt In the late 1970's, a mysterious new disease began infecting and killing gay men. Common threads tells the powerful story of the first decade of the AIDS epidemic, as told through the lives of five very diverse individuals who shared a common fate. Read more Consenting adult A young man discovers his attraction to men. He has trouble coming out to his parents. His mother is at first conviced he is sick and can be 'cured'. His father is a prideful man that can not accept his son for who he is. It is very recognisable for anyone who has come out to his/her parents. Read more Dress gray A young plebe is found killed in a river after he has had gay sex. General Hedges, the headmaster of the US Grant Military Acadamy does everything to cover it up as an accident. When it does come out Ry Slaight is made suspect. He must find out what really happened before he is convicted. Read more Flawless When Walt Koontz, a retired security guard, ultraconservative and proud of it, gets partial paralysis he needs therapy. He refuses to leave his apartment so he reluctantly agrees to a rehabilitative program that includes singing lessons with a performer who lives upstairs - a street-tough drag queen named Rusty Zimmerman. Read more The fluffer Sean is a naive gay guy who gets infatuated with a porn star. He tries to get near him and gets a job as cameraman. During the first day on the job he is asked to be Johnny's fluffer. He is intrigued by Williams from the start, but his curiosity is piqued when he meets Jim's violent, young and sexy lover, Billy. Later Billy is dead, and Kelso stays on to cover the murder trial. She then realises she loves him and tries everything to split them up. This isn't easy because the bride seems to be "the perfect woman". George Downes, her gay boss and best friend, comes to the rescue, but helps her open her eyes to see what she needs to do. Who is completely open about the fact that he is also the lover of her acquaintance, Dr. Daniel Hirsch. These relationships continue in some kind of equilibrium until Alex and Bob agree to house-sit the children of a couple known to the three of them. But, after serving only eleven months, he - and popular mayor George Moscone - were assassinated by deranged ex-supervisor Dan White. Read more Victor/Victoria A woman pretending to be a man pretending to be a woman in the early years of the 20th century. This goes well until a famous gangster falls in love with him/her. And he/she feells the same for him. What now? Read more Wilde Oscar Wilde was a flamboyant and creative genius at the end of the 19th century. He was also gay which he had to defend in court. Despite his brillant defence he was still convicted. He was a forerunner of the gay liberation. Read more Will & Grace Two best friends, Will (a gay lawyer) and Grace (a straight interior designer) live together. Karen Walker (Grace's assistent) is a wealthy socialite. Jack McFarland (a friend of Will) is a flamboyant gay young man. Put them together and you've got a comedy that can run for years. Read more
