Hello subscriber,
What a month I have had. The website has been in repair to make all the pages have the same look-and-feel. And that with more than 110 titles plus all the general pages makes a lot of manhours.
But it, as it is almost ready, has already paid off. We have crossed the barrier of 100 visitors per day and 500 hits per day. In total over 2.000 visitors have visited the website and there were way over 7.000 hits this month! Some more statistics: there are now 1.410 pictures, 5.385 internal and 794 external links in this website.
So, come and visit the About Gay Movies website again and see what has been changed since your last visit. More changes and titles will be added soon.
Kind regards,
Eric

The relationship makes him determined to tell his reserved English parents, an academician and a book editor, of his homosexuality. Longtime Companion
Perhaps the first film to put a human face on the AIDS epidemic, Longtime Companion follows the lives of a small circle of friends from the first mention of the disease in the New York Times in 1980. First referred to as "Gay - Related - Immune - Disorder (GRID)" we watch the effect of the disease as it devastates the lives of our protagonists. Jumping between Manhattan and Fire Island, vignettes carry us from the it-couldn't-happen-to-me mentality of the early days of the disease to the invasive effect it has had on all of our lives, today. The title of the film comes from the New York Times' refusal to acknowledge homosexual relationships in their obituary section during this period. Instead, survivors were referred to as "Longtime Companions" of the deceased. Read more
