Dear [YMLP1],
After a long but well deserved holiday I am energized to get things done for the About Gay Movies site. There are some exciting new things just around the corner. You will hear about them first in this newsletter.
Lots of times I get questions if and where a dvd of a certain movie can be bought. For this I have added a new section on every moviepage at the right of the general info. If there is a dvd of the movie it will be offered here with all the required information.
About Gay Movies is very proud to win the Bi MEN NETWORK five star Gold Goodwill Award from Bi MEN NETWORK. Again! "For truly outstanding service to our world GLBT community". Wow thanks guys, I must be doing something right :-)
In a previous poll it became clear that ads are prefered over a paid members site. These ads have been online for a while now to pay for the provider costs. I like to know what you think of the ads. Do they give extra value or do they irritate you? There is a poll on the site and also below in this newsletter. Please give your opinion.
Frequently I get invitations for screenings of new movies with a gay theme. They are usually held in Los Angeles, USA. Since I am located in Amsterdam, Holland it is unrealistic for me to attend these screenings. Are you living in or near LA and would you like to be the official representative of About Gay Movies? The only thing I ask in return is a review of the movie for the site. Feel up to it, [YMLP1]? Want to see the newest gay movies? Then send me an email with a review of a gay themed movie that you saw in the format of AGM.
This hot summer deserves a light hearted comedy as movie of the month: Billy's Hollywood Screen Kiss with Sean Hayes (Will & Grace). See below.
And this month there were 5 new titles added to the growing database of About Gay Movies. See below for more info.
Love,
Eric
