Hello subscriber,
Summer holidays are almost over, hope you had a great summer. Back to the old routine of work and school. No more lying in the sun, no more hanging around, the real life has begun again.
I have been busy over this summer working on the new database and I am very excited about it. Through the help of a very good friend the first steps have been taken towards a more user friendly website. In the coming months I will be busy filling the database. When it is ready to launch, I'll let you know.
The sweepstake for the movie Showboy has been viewed by hundreds of people. And over 40% of them entered hoping to win. Three of them have won this amazing DVD. See below if you have won.
After winning the Gold Award last year, About Gay Movies has now won the prestigious Diamond Award from myGayWeb.com. This is the highest award they bestow upon sites with a gay interest and I feel very honoured having been given this prize.
To continue the good work there have been 3 new titles added this month. See below for more info. Also a new FAQ page with answers to all those questions I receive from visitors has been added. You can find it here.
With the new database I want to bring new features to the website, among others bigger pictures and multimedia options. Since this will generate more costs I am considering setting up a members' section for a small fee. I would like to know if and for how much you would like to be a member. Please participate in the new poll below.
Last but not least: this month's movie of the month is Yossi & Jagger. A romantic story in the Israeli army.
Love,
Eric
