Open to everyone who is 18 years of age or over as of the date of entry. Employees or agents of the sponsor (the 'Sponsor') or About Gay Movies and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, licensees, directors, officers, agents, independent contractors and advertising/promotional agencies, and the members of their immediate families or those persons living in the same household of such individuals are ineligible to enter or win. Void where prohibited by law.

To enter, access the sweepstake and complete the online entry form in its entirety and click on the Submit button.

All entries become the exclusive property of About Gay Movies and will not be acknowledged or returned. Any use of robotic, automatic, programmed or the like entry methods will void all such entries by such methods.

Limit one entry per person or e-mail address (regardless of wheter more than one person uses the same e-mail adress). Multiple entries from the same person or e-mail address will be void.

It is the sole responsibility of the entrant to notify About Gay Movies in writing if the entrant changes his/her e-mail address.

Entry materials/data that have been tampered with, forged or altered are void. In case of dispute as to identity of a winner, such entry will be declared made by the registered user of the e-mail account at the time the entry was submitted, and if a prize is won, and such registered user is a valid entrant, the prize will be awarded to such registered user.

All prizes legitimately claimed will be awarded. Prizes won by minors will be awarded to a parent/legal guardian. Only one prize per person/family/household. No alternative prize, cash, transfer or other substitution is permitted except by the Sponsor in its sole discretion, in the event of prize unavailability or otherwise. All taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner.

Selection of Winner: Winner will be determined by random drawing from all eligible entries received, to be held on or around July 1st 2003 at the About Gay Movies office. All decisions of the Sponsor are final and binding. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. The winners will be notified by e-mail within 15 days of the drawing. Winners will have 10 days from notification to accept the prize by e-mail to info@aboutgaymovies.info.

The Sponsor and About Gay Movies are not responsible for and shall not be liable for any late, lost, postage-due or misdirected notification, or for winner's unsuccessful efforts to accept or claim any prize. Winners (or winners' parent/legal guardian if winner is a minor) will be required to sign and return a release of liability, declaration of eligibility, and where lawful, a publicity consent agreement, all within 10 days of receiving such document(s) from Sponsor. By entering, each entrant (or entrant's parent/legal guardian if entrant is a minor) agrees to grant Sponsor, About Gay Movies and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, licensees, directors, officers, agents, independent contractors and advertising/promotion agencies the use of his/her name, voice, likeness, biographical data and statements for any purposes, including, without limitation, advertising, trade, or promotion, in perpetuity and throughout the universe, in any and all media now known or hereafter devised, without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. If a selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim a prize, or fails to timely return the completed and executed declaration and releases as required, prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected, at Sponsor's sole discretion. Refusal or return of prize notification as undeliverable will also result in disqualification and an alternate winner may be selected.

By entering, each entrant (or entrant's parent/legal guardian if entrant is a minor) agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which shall be final. Sponsor, About Gay Movies, and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, licensees, directors, officers, agents, independent contractors, advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies, and legal advisors are not responsible for and shall not be liable for:

1. Late, lost, delayed, damaged, misdirected, mutilated, incomplete, illegible, unintelligible, or postage-due entries or mail.
2. Telephone, electronic, hardware or software program, network, Internet, server or computer malfunctions, failures, interruptions, miscommunications or difficulties of any kind, whether human, mechanical or electrical, including, without limitation, the incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry information online.
3. Failed, incomplete, lost, garbled, jumbled, interrupted, unavailable or delayed computer transmissions.
4. Any condition caused by events beyond the control of the Sponsor and About Gay Movies that may cause the Sweepstakes to be disrupted or corrupted.
5. Any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising in connection with or as a result of the prize, or acceptance, possession, or use of the prize, or from participation in the Sweepstakes.
6. Any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Sweepstakes.

Sponsor, About Gay Movies, and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, licensees, directors, officers, employees, agents, independent contractors and advertising/promotion agencies make no warranties, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the use or enjoyment of any of the prizes, including, without limitation, their quality, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to suspend or cancel Sweepstakes at any time if a computer virus, bug, or other technical problem corrupts the administration, security, or proper play of the Sweepstakes. In such event, Sponsor may select winners in a random drawing from among all entries received for the Sweepstakes prior to the suspension or cancellation. Entrants agree not to knowingly damage or cause interruption of this Sweepstakes and/or prevent others from using this Sweepstakes.

CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DAMAGE ANY ONLINE SERVICE OR WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS SWEEPSTAKES VIOLATES CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. IF SUCH AN ATTEMPT IS MADE, SPONSOR MAY DISQUALIFY ANY ENTRANT(S) MAKING SUCH ATTEMPT AND SPONSOR MAY SEEK DAMAGES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

By participating in the Sweepstakes, each entrant (or entrant's parent/legal guardian if entrant is a minor) agrees to release and hold Sponsor, About Gay Movies and the employees, officers, directors, shareholders, agents, representatives of Sponsor and About Gay Movies, their parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, licensees, advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies, and legal advisors, harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind in connection with the Sweepstakes or resulting from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize, or travel to or from any prize-related activity, including without limitation, personal injury, death, and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy.

Back to top Resolution of disputes

Any and all disputes and claims relating to this Sweepstakes shall be resolved by binding arbitration by a Dutch judge in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Dutch law shall apply to the resolution, award, enforcement and collection relating to any dispute or claim. Each party shall pay one-half of the costs of the arbitration. The dispute and claims and arbitration proceedings shall at all times be kept confidential except to the extent necessary to enforce or collect the arbitration award.
